For the Beyond Babylon project, we conducted an initial photographic test shoot. The focus was on developing a suitable visual language for the planned food series.
In doing so, we coordinated the lighting, perspective, and presentation of the dishes. The photos were intended to showcase natural colors and textures and to lay the groundwork for further photographic work.
Lighting and Presentation Put to the Test
The test shoot provided an opportunity to experiment with different visual effects. We explored which angles best showcase the dishes and how lighting and composition work together.
The food photography also served as creative preparation: Decisions for a future series can be derived from these initial shots.
