In 2021, we documented the Portalklinik at the LMU Medical Center’s Downtown Campus in Munich for Sweco Architects. The extensive project was carried out in several phases and included interior and exterior photography, drone photography, and drone video. We captured the new building and its connection to the historic hospital from various perspectives.
New Building and Historic Clinic in Context
The four-story new building is directly connected to the historically protected medical clinic. A glass connecting structure links the old and new buildings and forms the central entrance area.
Our architectural photography captures these architectural connections as well as the design of the new building. Vertical ceramic elements, large window surfaces, and a subdued color palette characterize its facade.
Drone photos and a complementary drone video expand the documentation to include aerial views of the clinic complex.

Photography and Video for Complex Construction Projects
Would you like to comprehensively document a new building or a complex of buildings? We plan shooting phases, perspectives, and formats in line with the project’s progress and, if needed, combine architectural photography with aerial photography and video.
