On behalf of Sweco Architects, we are documenting the Eva Mayr-Stihl Tumor Center at Stuttgart University Hospital through photography over an extended period. The project includes interior and exterior shots as well as a virtual 360° tour.
The new building is part of the Stuttgart Cancer Center. Its medical use—particularly radiation therapy—places special demands on planning, technical infrastructure, and spatial design.
Documenting Interiors and Building Structure
The interior photographs showcase the design and function of the selected spaces. The lines, lighting, and spatial transitions help to clearly illustrate the building’s structure.
Exterior views complement the series by showcasing facades, the building’s massing, and how the new structure integrates into the existing hospital complex. By documenting the project over an extended period, different project phases can be captured.
Supplementary 360° Tour
The virtual tour expands upon the photographs by providing a standalone spatial perspective. Users can independently explore selected areas and better grasp how they relate to one another.
