For GOLDBECK, we documented the revitalization of two high-rise buildings in the student district of Munich-Freimann through photography and video. The production included drone photography and aerial video footage to document the renovation project.
The buildings, which have 12 and 22 stories, respectively, are being modernized as part of the BayernHeim project. Once the renovation is complete, more than 1,000 apartments will once again be available for students there.
Revitalization and Construction Progress
The renovation includes energy-efficient upgrades to the facades, the modernization of the existing apartments, new accessible apartments, and the replacement of the building’s mechanical and electrical systems.
Our photographs document the current state of construction and show the two high-rises in relation to the surrounding construction sites. The focus was on the changes to the building, the scale of the project, and its integration into the student town.
Skyscrapers and a construction site as seen from the air
The drone footage provides an overview of the buildings, facades, and the entire site. Different viewing angles show both the height of the buildings and their location within the Munich-Freimann neighborhood.
In addition to the photographs, aerial video footage was captured. It combines views of the facades, the state of construction, and the surroundings, making the spatial relationships of the project easy to understand.
Visual material for documentation and project communication
The photos and videos document the progress of the work as of the time they were taken. The material can be used for internal coordination, presentations, and external project communication.
The combination of wide-angle shots and close-ups of the buildings offers varying levels of detail—from the entire construction site to specific areas of the high-rises.
