Photography and Video Coverage of the 6 Concerts and the Art Exhibition
After a pause due to the pandemic, the Jazz Summer successfully continued last year with a “Stroll through Europe.” This year’s theme is “Loud & Proud,” reminiscent of jazz’s roots as music of liberation, resistance, and empowerment. At the same time, it should also be emphasized that jazz is not just a humorless intellectual pursuit, but also captivating entertainment for all the senses.
As always, the concerts will be framed by an exhibition – this time «Passion» by the globally sought-after photographer and Peter Lindbergh student Mike Meyer – and matching music films in the astor@Cinema Lounge.
