Treedom is the first website that makes it possible to plant a tree remotely and follow the story of the project where it is planted. Every tree is geolocated and photographed, and regular updates about the project are published in an online tree diary.
Since its founding in 2010 in Florence, nearly 3,000,000 trees have been planted in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Italy. All trees are planted directly by local small farmers and bring a variety of ecological, social, and economic benefits.
Thanks to this innovative social business model, Treedom has been part of Certified B Corporations since 2014, the network of companies distinguished by their high ecological and social performance.
Every tree receives its own online profile, is geolocated and photographed, and can be gifted via message or email.
