Interior photography for the new MINT duo exhibition: \u201cDance before we walk\u201d, featuring the artists Gena Milanesi and Perrine Boudy.<\/p>\n\n

\u201cDance before we walk\u201d is a homage to the expressive and energetic artistic language of both artists. The title of the show serves as a metaphor for taking bold and joyful steps in their practice while still having a clear path in their artistic process. <\/p>\n\n

Gena Milanesi\u2019s paintings display a kind of cyclical rhythm. The structured, controlled chaos of her compositions doubles as a metaphor for nature itself. Her canvases are bursting with energy and expressiveness. The interplay of colors and the centering of the composition creates the feeling as if the colors are dancing on the canvas. <\/p>\n\n

For the first time, MINT is showcasing a new medium in the form of ceramics. For a long time, we have been looking for the perfect fit to introduce this medium to the audience in Munich. <\/p>\n\n

Perrine Boudy\u2019s wonderful body of work is largely inspired by Greco-Roman civilization and the imaginative vision she has of it.<\/p>\n\n

The show will be on view from September 20th until November 2nd.<\/p>\n\n
