For Munich Airport, we were able to photographically document the architecture of the new T1 pier even before it officially opened.
The new building, which is around 360 meters long, expands the airport’s capacity by up to six million passengers per year and sets new standards in Terminal 1 with its modern architecture, clear passenger guidance and spacious areas.
Our architectural photography focused on the clear design language, the dimensions of the building and the interplay of light, materials and functionality. It was particularly exciting to capture the architecture and atmosphere of the new pier before regular flight operations began.
