The Elite on Stage
A touch of Oscar atmosphere was palpable in the Salzburg Residenz when the current best of the best from Elite Report and Handelsblatt were honored. It was almost a thanksgiving celebration for the invited wealth managers and family offices from the German-speaking region. Dr. Kristina Hammer, President of the Salzburg Festival, received enthusiastic, unending applause for her excellent welcoming address, which the honorees gratefully took home with them. Handelsblatt Senior Editor Hans-Jürgen Jakobs was also applauded for his thoughts on phlegmatic wealthy clients, as was Dr. Gisela Bauer for her in-depth analysis of industry role model Warren Buffett.
Additionally, Hans Scharfetter, Member of the Salzburg State Parliament and Vice President of the Salzburg Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the elite community. Elite Report expert Reinhard Vennekold addressed positive industry trends in his speech, but also professionally criticized aspects that could be improved. Afterwards, he casually called the honorees to the stage to receive their awards.
