We have been documenting the Munich Motet Choir through photography for several years. This photo series was taken in the Herkulessaal and combines portrait and environmental photography with a group shot of the choir.
Portraying the Ensemble as a Whole
During the photo shoot, the choir as a community took center stage. The group photo shows the ensemble against the backdrop of the Herkulessaal; additional portraits of individual members expand the series to include further perspectives on the performers.
The portraits and environmental shots thus form an integral part of the choir’s photographic presentation.
