For the Maximilianeum Foundation, we photographed an antique carpet to serve as the basis for its digital reconstruction as part of a restoration project. The task required coordinated preparation, photographic documentation, and subsequent digital processing.
Photography as the Basis for Reconstruction
For this product photography project, the focus was on ensuring that the historical object could be further processed. The images were taken in such a way that the rug could subsequently be digitally reconstructed.
Our assistant, Adrienne, handled the digital reconstruction and also helped with the preparation for the shoot.
