We documented the newly renovated and redesigned areas of the IHK Academy conference hotel in Westerham through photography and video. The focus was on the hotel rooms, their furnishings, and the view of the Alps. Supplementary drone footage shows the hotel and its surroundings from the air.
The production combines hotel photography, video production, and aerial photography to create a comprehensive presentation of the conference hotel.
Room Views and Selected Details
The photo shoot was carried out by a photographer and an assistant. We combined different perspectives to showcase the spatial layout of the rooms and their design. Wide-angle shots provide a sense of orientation, while close-ups highlight materials, furnishings, and details.
In doing so, we focused on clean lines and natural proportions. The visual composition is based on the actual feel of the spaces.
Natural Light and Alpine Views
The view is a distinctive feature of the rooms photographed. For these shots, we carefully balanced the lighting between the interior and the exterior.
This way, both the interior and the landscape outside the windows remain recognizable. The natural light characterizes the photo series and conveys the atmosphere of the rooms.
Video Production and Drone Footage
The video production complements the photographs by providing moving images of the conference hotel. It expands the presentation of the rooms and their atmosphere by adding another format to the hotel’s communications.
The drone footage complements the interior shots by providing a view of the building and its location. This also highlights how the house fits into the surrounding landscape.
